On the territory of the park it has been identified so far a total of 1086 species of cormophytes belonging to 98 botanical families, which represent approximately 30% of the flora of Romania and approximately 50% of the Banat flora . The fitogeografic analysis shows the predominance of the European elements in a broad sense, 603 species (58.3%), of which 305 Euro-Asian species, 152 European, 124 Central European, 52 circumpolar. It is also noticed in the flora of the park a large number of southern elements: 209 species (about 19%) including: Carpinus orientalis, Cornus mas, Fraxinus ornus, Ruscus aculeatus, Ruscus hypoglossum.
We also find a significant number of rare and endemic species among which we can mention : Dianthus trifasciculatus,Ranunculus flabellifolius, Alyssum petraeum, Corylus colurna, Rubus banaticus, Linum uninerve, Dianthus banaticus, etc..
